The innovator’s playground is where novel technologies are researched, designed, and tested. It is the Design-Build Test and Learns (DBTL) Cycle to innovate. This is not one team effort but ecosystems of partners work with clients to build custom solutions to solve their most pressing challenges using innovative services and products.
Innovation Lab’s Core team is built with aggressive and visionary scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs who come from very different backgrounds experienced in a wide variety of technologies and access to the Market.
Micro Organ on chip technology is a Unique Technology to curb the high cost of new medicines discovery and development and to reduce the number of animal studies, there is a critical need to develop more accurate models for the prediction of permeability, bioavailability, safety, and efficacy of new drug candidates.
One of the key objectives is to utilize the Micro-Organ Device (MOC) and the Bioreactor IP to develop and validate the applications and methodologies for deployment in the biotech and pharma industry to accelerate drug discovery and development.
The unique innovation of the MOC construct is that the impact of various micro-organisms on drug transport and bioavailability can be evaluated by housing a micro-organ of interest in the micro-chamber and then circulating the drug candidate solution medium through the microfluidics channel.
The miniature bioreactor IP will supplement the MOC IP to optimally develop cells of the various body organs of preclinical animals and humans. Furthermore, one of the key objectives of expanding the value of the existing IPs will be to design a unique system of tandem micro-organs to mimic the gastrointestinal tract (GIT)or GIT plus liver or even the full body on the MOC system.
